Symbiont Ventures is an investment company located in San Antonio Texas that is focused on acquiring or investing in high growth companies in several sectors. Symbiont was founded by a serial entrepreneur, and we pride ourselves on creating strong relationships and a deep understanding of entrepreneurs’ visions for their businesses. We look to provide a partnership that allows those founders to take some cash off the table, while also providing additional capital to continue to scale the business and achieve their vision.

Our investment thesis is to invest in companies and real estate that generates positive cash flows, while still offering strong capital appreciation opportunities. SV’s founding vision was to deliver compelling cash flows and asset appreciation for the founding family as well as our few Limited Partners.

Today our portfolio includes six operating companies that generate over $100M in annual revenue and secondly residential real estate assets (single and multi-family) in several states in the US. Our typical check size for acquiring or investing in operating companies is in the $2M – $20M range. Regarding residential real estate, we prefer to acquire multiple units in a single transaction.
